Taner Ölmez plays the role of the autistic doctor Ali Vefa in the series Miracle Doctor, which has broken rating records. He is now playing the character Burak in the hit Netflix series The Protector.
The third season of The Protector, the first original Turkish series to be screened by Netflix, was released on the platform on March 6.
The Protector has attained global success in its first two seasons on the leading Internet entertainment service Netflix, with Çağatay Ulusoy in the leading role in what is the first Turkish original series on the platform. Along with the actors known from the first two seasons, such as Hazar Ergüçlü, Okan Yalabık and Burçin Terzioğlu, the third season will feature Taner Ölmez. He has already made a name for himself in the role of the autistic doctor in the series Miracle Doctor. We will see him in the third season of The Protector in the part of Burak.
In the new season of The Protector, Hakan enters into a fierce battle to save Istanbul from returning to hell by his brother, who carries the blood of “The Protector”. While the city suffers from a fatal virus, Faysal and Ruya are getting closer to their evil plans. Hakan has to reach Nisan (Funda Eryiğit) to find an antidote, and on this path, Burak (Taner Ölmez) joins Hakan on this adventure to save the citizens of the city.
